Indexable inserts

Based on decades of experience, Koyemann can supply its customers with indexable inserts ideally suited to any given boring job. Using the Koyemann indexable insert code, which is also the part number, the inserts can be easily matched to the machining tasks.

For each Koyemann indexable insert code, the material to be worked, the type of milling and the cutting material are coded in an easily understandable way. The materials to be worked are ordered into groups of materials worked in similar ways, each identified with a different letter. The type of machining is identified with numbers. The different cutting materials are also identified with letters.

In most cases, the indexable inserts are suited to different material groups and a wide range of machining types. Consequently, the indexable insert code for these inserts shows several letters for the material and several numbers for the machining type, such as the very versatile indexable insert CCMT060204-CGKRW234A1. The suffix '1' is a store code.
